This is an in-depth study of Bodoni font, zooming into its details to create a new composition with its letters. I decided to focus on symmetry in the composition, using lower case letters "q", "p", "d", and "b". The center mimicks a bracket, which could also be interpreted as a "window". An unintended effect is the appearance of "bowties" between the loops of the letters. This study gave me an understanding of how blown-up letterforms can create unique shapes and serendipitous discoveries.
